Privacy notice

This notice explains what information the RockClue waitlist collects, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

RockClue is currently preparing an early-access mobile application for rockhounds and mineral collectors. This notice applies to the public website and waitlist at rockclue.com.

Information we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect the information you submit and a small amount of context needed to operate the signup:

  • Your email address.
  • Your selected platform preference: iPhone, Android, or both.
  • An optional referral label, the referring website’s domain, and UTM campaign parameters when present.
  • The page path used to submit the signup and the time the record was created.

Our hosting provider may also process standard request information, such as IP address, browser details, and request timestamps, in short-lived service and security logs. We do not ask for payment details, precise location, rock collection data, or marketplace information through this waitlist website.

How we use information

We use waitlist information to confirm interest, plan platform testing, send important product and launch updates, invite eligible people to early access, understand which campaigns introduced visitors, protect the form from misuse, and respond to support requests.

You can unsubscribe from promotional email through the link included in our messages or by contacting us.

Service providers

Vercel hosts the website and its waitlist endpoint. Neon stores the waitlist record in RockClue’s managed Postgres database. These providers process information on RockClue’s behalf under their service terms and security commitments. If an email delivery provider is added for launch updates, this notice will be updated with the relevant processing details.

Provider infrastructure or support operations may process information outside your country. We do not sell waitlist email addresses or share them with advertisers for their own marketing.

Retention and your choices

We keep waitlist information while it is useful for early access, launch communication, and related records. We delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed, subject to reasonable security, fraud-prevention, and legal recordkeeping needs.

You may ask to access, correct, or delete your waitlist information. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply.

The waitlist is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through it.
